RAYMOND ALFRED "Butch" BROWN, SR.

Raymond A. Brown Sr. (Butch) Departed this life on August 14, 2023 in his home, after a brief illness.

Raymond was born on June 6, 1955 in Columbus Ohio to Raymond & Allice Brown.

Raymond attended Columbus City School. After finishing High School, he enlisted in the United States Army where he received an honorable discharge.

He then married Debra and they had six beautiful children.

Butch went on to work for Columbus Metropolitan Housing. For many people retirement brings about a period of rest and relaxation. However, Butch then went on to work for Olen Gravel Company for many years. Butch had a great love for his family. He also loved to fish & hunt with his friends & kids.

Raymond (Butch) is preceded in death by his Parents; Raymond and Alice Brown, his Grandson; Jaysean Brown, and Son; Shawn Brown.

He leaves to cherish his memory. His Wife Debra Brown, Son’s ;Raymond (and Taqisha) Brown, Antwan Brown, Special Son Clarence (Snoopy) Tyree. Daughters Lakeshia, Marsha, Trequia Brown. They are all from Columbus, Ohio. Sister Jeannie and (Littleton-BO ) Jackson. Teresa Frazier, and Brother Charles Brown. Uncle Louis and (Pairs) Galliam. Sister in-law Darlene Tyree, Brother in-law Clarence and (Tracey) Tyree; 19 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
