QUENTIN RAYNELL WATTERSON

Quentin Watterson a food service expert and long life resident of Columbus, Ohio died unexpectedly on November 3, 2021, at the age of 58.  Quentin is predeceased by his grandmother Elizabeth Watterson, parents Roosevelt and Donna Stevens and three beloved sons, Deandre Henry, Devuan and Deshawn Jones. Quentin was a devoted food service expert and gourmet cook with comfort foods being one of his specialties. He loved to show off his skills and quite an expert at mastering the grill, it pleased him that others were comforted with his talent for cooking.  Oh what a contagious smile he wore, always meek  humbled, and forgiving, learning from his mistakes, it was important to him to not make the same mistake twice.  Quentin definitely wasn’t a grudge holder.  He was raised in church and often found comfort in listening to gospel music. He loved football and basketball, which he did play back in his school age days.  He was blessed with eleven kids a team of his own!   He was quite the ladies man and having children was in his plan he enjoyed being a father and cherished his children. He was also a great son, brother and friend! He was definately a good listener and prided himself on giving good advice! Quentin loved to entertain and actually he may have missed his calling as a comedian bringing joy and laughter to all.  Oh! He love to dress, shall we say dressed to impress! (that was probably a part of the” ladies man plan”).

 Left to cherish his memory are his siblings Johnetta Baskin (Rocka Mama) and Kevin Stevens (Poo) and dear friend Mary Lou. Children; Eric Henry, Dewayne Henry, Demaun Henry, Myeisha Henry, Courtni Smith, Cora Smith, Kendall Banner, and Rico Price. A host of grands, great grands, two dear nieces and nephews.
