Mary Christine Johnson, age 96, was born October 27, 1925. I am raised in Macon Georgia. She attended Ballard Hudson high school. She loved and enjoyed being around family and she always kept everyone laughing with her sassiness. She was a tell it like it was person and she wasn’t going to take it back! She departed this life on September 13, 2022. Mary (Madea) will truly be missed.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, Leo and Darnell Pinkston, her husband, Oatha Johnson, daughter, Eugenia Pinkston (Deanie), sisters Leola Miller, Fannie Russell (Julius), Lillie Orr (Thomas), Clara Rodgers, Darnell Franklin (Rev. Franklin), brother Willie Pinkston, and grandson Andre Johnson.
Surviving to celebrate her legacy is her sister, Annie James, daughter, Pamela Johnson, daughter-niece, Annie Wells, Nieces, Shanique & Sharhonda Harper, Granddaughters, Anitra Johnson, Lakisha Johnson, Bianca Johnson & a host of nieces, nephews, grand & great grandchildren & friends.
