MRS VIRDELL WILSON

Virdell Wilson, went Home to be with the LordVon January 25, 2021, after a long illness.

Virdell was born January 22, 1936, in Macon, Tennessee, to the late Myrtle (Williams) Funches.

 Virdell made her home in Mansfield, Ohio after living several years in Chicago, Illinois.  After many years of dedicated work in various capacities, she retired in 1998 and spent her remaining years enjoying being with her family and friends. She loved and was an excellent cook, she also enjoyed sewing and doing Arts & Crafts.  Virdell accepted God and our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in her early life and remained steadfast in her faith and belief!

 Virdell was preceded in death by her mother, Myrtle Funches, her great-grandmother Mother Mary W. Williams, seven great uncles, seven great aunts, cousin Mary Murphy and several other special cousins!

 She leaves to cherish in her memory her son, Charles Wilson, (Tina Thomas) of Mansfield, OH, three grandchildren, Marilyn, Jeneail and Corey Wilson all of Chicago, IL, 11 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren, special cousins Barbara Bowen of Mansfield, OH, Robert (Main) Howard, Columbus, OH, cousin Cassie Eatmon of Jackson, Michigan, and a host of other cousins and friends.
