LEONARD WAYNE SMITH

Leonard Wayne Smith also known as Big Leo, 74, passed away on February 22nd 2022.
Leo was born on July 29th 1947 to Richard and Helen Smith in Urbancrest, OH. Leo attended Central High School where he was all league state in football 
In 1966,

Leo met Parrie, and they married in 1968, where they enjoyed 53 years of marriage. They went on to have 3 children Leonard Jr. (Deceased), Shurie and Brittany. 

Leo worked for National Fire Hose for many years before he retired with many rewards and accolades   Leonard was a saved Christian who loved the Lord and loved his family very much
Leonard enjoyed watching football where he was a huge fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and New Orleans Saints

Leonard was preceded in death by his mother Helen, father Richard, 3 brothers Bill, Charles and Arnold. 4 sisters Mona, Patricia, Ardis, and Genevie, and his son Leonard Smith Jr.
He is survived by his wife Parrie Smith; daughters Shurie Smith (fiancé James Tatum), Brittany Austin-Robinson (son in law Jared Austin-Robinson);  his 7 grandchildren Larry, Daizhunae, Shardenay, Anazha, Jamaica, Jermaine and Jaleigh; sister in law Karen Smith and brother in law Weldon Jones
