John David Moore, Jr. was born  November 20, 1969 to John Sr. and Francine (Wade) Moore. He departed this earthly life on Friday, October 8, 2021 suddenly and unexpectedly.  

He graduated 1988 from Mifflin High School, attended Grambling State University where he was affectionally known as “Money” and graduated 1992.  He obtained his Master’s Degree from Central Michigan University May 2000 and went on to pursue his lifelong dream of graduating from Capital Law School May 2005.

John David was admitted into The Supreme Court of Ohio Bar Association May 2006.  He practiced law in his own law office from 2006-2018.

He dabbled in stand-up comedy for the past few years. He was always a naturally funny person. He became a member of the Nation of Islam in his early twenties, though his spiritual foundation was rooted in the Baptist church which he was never able to escape.

He began working at the United States Postal Service not long before his untimely death.

He is preceded in death: father, Rev. John D. Moore, Sr., maternal grandfather, Johnson Wade, maternal grandmother, Alberta Wade, paternal grandfather, Norman Moore, paternal grandmother, Elizabeth Moore, aunts, Janet Hall, Brenda Lear, Jewell Shelborne; uncle John Wade.

Leaves to cherish his memory  mother, Francine Moore, sister, Xandra (Raymond) Wilson, sister, Shronne (Anthony) Moore-Williams, daughter, Payton Moore, son, John David Moore III, their mother, Marchelle Moore, daughter, Miriam Moore and her mother Anta Moore; nephew, Anthony Williams, Jr., niece, Bailey Williams. A host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends including very special friends who were the brothers he always wanted Tim Horton, Allen Brown, Dennis Featherstone and his college roommate, Malcolm Hawthorne. He was well loved by so many more people to numerous to list but cherished.
