Debra Sue Watson - Roebuck was born on February 11th, 1966 in Moultrie, GA. At the tender of 3, her family moved to Columbus, Ohio where she lived until her passing on September 9th, 2019. Debra was so full of life and love. Every person that was able to experience her loving and sassy personality, instantly formed a connection with her that will last a lifetime. She worked hard to provide for her family and ensured that we never needed anything. Even when times were hard, she showed us what unconditional love was all about. When it came to her children, she would put herself last if there was something we needed and she never complained. She came to as many school field trips & events as should could. She showed us what it meant to be strong and independent. She made sure that we understood that family is everything and all we have is each other. She made us realize that life is short and we must live each day to the fullest. Each morning, she would send us good morning texts, telling us to have a great day and letting us know we were loved. Debra, was truly an angel on earth. She checked in on her friends/family no matter how busy life got. She was there when others needed to vent and provided individuals a shoulder to cry on if needed. She was the BEST mother, grandmother, sister, wife and friend that anyone could ever ask for. We are eternally grateful for the years that we were able to spend with her. We are grateful for the memories that will last us a life time. And finally we are grateful for the legacy that she left behind.
Debra is survived by her two children, Whitley (Austin Lane) & Willie Thomas, Husband - Steven Roebuck, Siblings- Freddie and Jerry Watson, Grandson - Anthony Lane, Nephew - Anthony and a host of other family and close friends. She will be joining her mother - Lucille Brigmon, Father (insert name) and brother Jimmy Watson in heaven. We ask that you continue to pray for her family and friends during this difficult time and we are grateful for the love and support we have received this far.
