RUBEN DONTE STANDIFER

Ruben Donte Standifer was born on January 6, 1985 in Columbus, Ohio at Ohio state University Hospital to Crystal V. Standifer and Raymond S. (Tiny) Williams.   He was the youngest of three kids. 

Donte attended Walnut Ridge High School. He was a laid back easy going gentleman. He loved to box, as well as he loved his music.

Later in life Donte moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 2010. Where he paved his own way. He was a very hard worker. He worked for Bulldogs cleaning company. Donte was a very loyal to his family friends, and his job

Blessed with 33 young years of life this angel was called home to be with the Lord on September 16, 2018. At Community East hospital of Indianapolis Indiana.

Donte’s mother Crystal Standifer, Father Raymond S.(Tiny) Williams, Grandmothers Latalia Chandler and Gladys Rozzelle, Grandfather Reverend Raymond S. Williams (daddy Ray),  cousin Danielle Standifer nephew little  Joe W. Summerall III were all at the gates of heaven waiting to greet him.

Left to celebrate his life Brother Marcus (Dianne Harris) Standifer Sister; Tasha (Joe Summerall) Standifer; Grandfater John Standifer; Great Grandmother Elizabeth (Standifer) Burke’s; Aunt Clair Standifer; Nieces Ayanna Summerall,  Savannah Standifer; Nephew Kesean Standifer; cousins Latoya Harris, Vershawn Standifer Lashawn Standifer best friends Rico Golden, JB Branham and Marquitto Wilkins and a host of other family and friends

We little knew that morning
God was to call your name.
In life we loved you dearly,
in death we do the same.
It broke our hearts to lose you,
You did not go alone.
For part of us went with you
The day God called you home.
You left us beautiful memories,
Your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you,
You are always at our side.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one,
The chain will link again.
