Jerry Lee Coleman; Husband, Father, Grand-Father. Born, January 30, 1956, to the late Samuel Lee Coleman and Barbara Jean Thomas in Columbus, Ohio.
Jerry worked at Huntington Park (Cooper Stadium) for 32 years. He was a loving, caring, considerate, kind man, who would do anything for anyone. He loved to tell jokes and make others laugh and have a good time. He was always someone anyone could talk to about anything.
Jerry attended Ephphatha Outreach Ministries, under the leadership of, Apostle Ronald A. Hoard.
Jerry is preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Lee Coleman and Barbara Jean Thomas.
He will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 19 years, Sarita Coleman. Jerry leaves to cherish his memories 2 children; Katina O’Bannon and Tiara Benton. He also leaves to cherish his memories his brothers; Eddie Thomas, Samuel Coleman, Leavert Coleman, Randy Coleman, Calvert Coleman and brother-in-law, Frank Benton; sisters, Lenora Coleman Smith, TiJonia Coleman, Evora Coleman and sister-in-law, Kimyatta Benton. Brother Jerry leaves behind grandchildren: Chante O’Bannon, Sharrice Stallings-Blair, Trayvon Benton, Tra’Niyah Benton and Na’Riyah Sloan and great grandchildren, Josiah Stallings, Roman Stallings and Karter Blair.
Finally, Jerry Lee Coleman leaves to cherish his memories a host of nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
