DOROTHY MAE STEWARD

Dorothy Mae Steward peacefully entered in her eternal resting place on February 10, 2019 in Columbus, Ohio at the age of 86. she was born on October 19, 1932 in Columbus, Ohio to Alice Bradley and Timothy Farr. She was married to David L. Steward, her devoted husband of 52 years. Dorothy retired from Isabelle Ridgway as a Nurse’s Assistant for 32 years. She was a dedicated member of Jordan Bible Church where she volunteered as a nurse.

Dorothy is preceded in death by her parents, Timothy Farr of Troy, North Carolina and Alice Bradley from Cedertown, Georgia of Columbus, Ohio; husband, David Lewis Steward of Augusta, Georgia; children, Daughter Carmen Steward-Genous and son Troy Steward & Tony.. all of Columbus, Ohio; Siblings, Brother Wendell Farr and Sister Charlene Garrett both of Columbus, Ohio.

Dorothy was survived by her children David Steward, Melvin (Deborah Ann) Steward, Gonzalo (Andrea) Steward, Terry Steward, Mickey (Helen) Steward; Daughters Clara (Willie) Jackson, Mary Steward all of Columbus, Ohio. 100 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Also survived by her 2 sisters Deborah (James) Farr & Tonja Bradley both of Columbus, Ohio. Special Friend Mr. Kee and a host of family and friends.
